Her work is based on photography, combined with installations,sculpture, video, sound and small print editions. She has appeared inexhibitions, screenings and publications both in the US and overseas. Recently,she appeared at P • P • O • W, New York; Lump Gallery/Projects, Raleigh,and NorteDrive Press.
She participated in residences at SkowheganSchool of Painting andSculpture, Atlantic Center for the Arts, and Marketplaceartist programs at Bronx Art Museum. She earned a scholarship at LowerManhattan Cultural Council. She is visiting professor at New York University.She has a Masters´degree in Arts from the University of North CarolinaChapel Hill and a BA from University Evergreen State in Olympia, Washington.While in Olympia, she interpreted and recorded in bands such as Excuse 17,with albums edited by Chainsaw Records y KillRock Stars.
