Elsi del Rio

Under the leadership of Fernando Entin, ELSI DEL RIO Contemporary Art opened its doors on July 14th, 2000, with the mission to promote emerging contemporary artists, both local and foreigners, and the commitment to be an independent space in the contemporary art world, presenting the works of visual artists in a year-round program formed by both individual and colective shows.

The artists that form part of the gallery´s menu present works that are sustained on their own, without answering to market tendencies or age segmentations. In it´s short life ELSI DEL RIO has positioned itself as a referent in the local art world.

The gallery holds three spaces, a show room and an open space for installations on the first floor, and a back room and the director´s office on the second floor. ELSI DEL RIO participates on art fairs and regularly summons curators for the planning of shows and the development of it´s artists.
